VacuNoti App Full Product Design

  • INTRO

Design and prototyping of a mobile application that consists of the childhood vaccination schedule and its digital record, with a warning system that would alert the user to plan the next vaccinations.

The design and prototyping of this application has been developed with the Figma tool, in the following link you can access and interact with the prototype:

Double Diamond methodology

To deal with this design challenge, the Double Diamond user-centered methodology, a model popularized by the Design Council, has been followed.

This non-linear process through ◇◇ diamonds, allows us to capture the different moments of both divergent and convergent thinking and separate it into four phases that are Discovery, Definition, Development and Delivery.

UX / UI DISCOVERY

Starting with the discovery phase with surveys and individual interviews, and continuing with the use of techniques such as the creation of Persona and Scenario to be able to create a mobile application prototype that best suits and responds to the needs of the users

DEFINITION & DEVELOPMENT

For the definition of the information architecture, I worked on several User flows Diagrams in miro.com. I drew by hand the first wireframes, then worked in Figma laying the foundations of the Design System and started building the prototype.

USABILITY TEST

I conducted a Usability test to validate this first iteration of the design process, catch minor errors and help me make plans for future functionalities. It was carried out by 5 real users and their sessions were recorded, both the interaction with the digital product and their reactions to collect and analyze bugs.

INTERACTION

Understanding the design of VacuNoti App from a user-centered approach and as a living digital product that will continue to be built in future iterations thanks to the latest insights detected.
